Me Skating

Dear all,

I want to tell the story about me. I have been skating for at least 6 months. Not full time though, maybe once a week. I played once in 2 days on early moths, but I don’t.
Since that time, I could do pivot and nose pivot and standing in a skateboard that called primo, but I cant make it flipping so it isn’t called primo flip, just like Rodney “Sick Flatland” Mullen does. Even though I am an extremely beginner skater, I would like to do another basic trick, Ollie (jump with your skateboard). It’s pretty tough to learn because I am too afraid to jump while the skateboard slapping over me, then I’m gonna fall!! I don’t want to fall, even though bail has become the main part of skateboarding. I don’t agree bail could make your skateboarding get better, in other side that’s true, I prefer I don’t fall to get my skateboarding better. Does it make sense? Everything is possible in this world. Just try and feel the process of your achievement.

Consequently, to do an Ollie, I learnt “how to Ollie” courses that I have taken from internet. They said the same.
First, pay attention of your foot placement. The front foot on the middle of the board and the back foot is in the tail. Slap the tail harder, while you doing that, you slide your front foot to the front bolts. Then jump high and land with your feet are on the bolts so you won’t fall. Don’t forget to bend your knees. Writing is easy but doing is not that easy!!!
Thus, now I’m trying to find the guys or maybe pros to teach me Ollie.
Please, whoever you are, could you get me some fine techniques about Ollie??

Oh, ironically, in my beloved country, Indonesia, there isn’t any excellent place to skate or even skate park. Maybe in one city there is one skate park full with the boys. Not all city though, only the big cities. The roads aren’t smooth, debris, and holes are everywhere. How can I skate freely if I am being haunted with some silly bails caused of the awful roads?

Well, it’s not a right reason to stop skating, just do the best you can while your environment doesn’t support you to be.
